i have been playing lots of texas hold ’em recently and am even the point leader of the week in the seattle poker open! *yay!* i don’t claim to be a great poker player but i do claim to love the game. so naturally i have poker on the brain. here are some pretty sweet playing card inspired creations and goodies.

oh, how i love the release of a new kidrobot dunny series! the azteca II series released yesterday and of course i had to buy some and found them at kitschy local shop, schmancy. i love these little blind boxes of art goodness and the feeling i get when i am about to open them. i love the excitement of not knowing what dunny will jump out of the foil wrapper. ♥ ♥ ♥

while i didn’t get all of my dunny choices, i am still pleased! i got the oscar mar black and white chase version (left) which i love. i really wanted the dani bravo’s frida dunny, but there is always the possibility of a good dunny trade!

the end of summer brought some major heat (bleck) and the new dunny series (yay)! my dunny friend, paul, and i shared a case of 25. it was so fun going back and forth choosing. we were giddy like little kids on christmas morning. he got the dunny he wanted and i got some cool ones too.  i was informed paul went to nyc kidrobot and picked this kickass dunny and this cool dunny and this cute one that i want so needless to say, i am jealous. he has the knack for picking the rare blind boxes. but i do love my dunnys by sneaky raccoon and doktor a the most. check out your local kidrobot shop (if you are lucky enough to have one) or online.
