Strand of Oaks is currently on tour with The Tallest Man on Earth and we were lucky to see both bands last night at the Moore Theater. I was a bit blown away by Strand of Oaks. The touring drummer was quite impressive and added a layer of awe to the already brilliant lyrics based on hard times and real events by Timothy Showalter. The albums are quite different from the actual live show, but both are equally great.
